Joriel has been a professional writer in various capacities for over a decade. Joriel's skills at creative brainstorming, simplifying technical content, online research, and clear communication are an excellent match for the needs of new and growing businesses.

Joriel got her start working for local and statewide non-profit organizations in Virginia, where she spent eight years producing countless brochures, newsletters, grants and public awareness campaigns. She gradually transitioned into freelance writing for local publications and non-profits, including Richmond Magazine, Style Weekly, Virginia Commonwealth University, and VCU Health System.

Joriel's clients have included DocuSign, Exhibits Northwest, Speakeasy, Varolii and All Star Directories. She has also worked as a marketing copywriter for national broadband and VoIP provider Speakeasy and writes occasionally for the Seattle Weekly.

Joriel received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of William & Mary with a dual concentration in English and Sociology.
